![]() I'm fully convinced about the suite and I'll buy them the next week. PD: Oh I've been testing again the drag and drop in the nuendo mixer and it works now !!! Also the analyzer works properly!!! I think it could be some kind of error with a Nuendo session in particular, as the tests I've donee with different sessions show me that everything works fine. It's only a small example, but I think you can complete these exceptional tools with a good guide explaining how to use them. For instance, a lot of people use reverb in traditional send/return mode, and it's Ok, but for convolution reverb like the Vienna Suite one, with all these possibilities of modeling the sound, it's much more effective to use it grouping the tracks per instrument families and inserting the reverb in the group track or, if used as send/return, put the send in pre-fader mode. I'm a sound engineer and a composer and have experience in mixing and mastering music, but a lot of VSL users doesn't have the fundamental knowledge to use conveniently the plugins for their own. It should also be a very good option to include, with the Vienna Suite, a tutorial (in pdf, for instance) about the basic mixing procedures with these plugins. Not only it gives the user more information about how importing your own impulses, but opens a new world of possibilities to the users that still don't know that they can do it and how can it be done technically. As a suggestion, you should include all this information in the Vienna Suite User Guide. ![]() It's fantastic how fine does the VSL support works. ![]() Thank you very much for the fast answer, Dietz. How is it done in Convolution reverb from Vienna Suite. In Steinberg REVerence, for instance, if you want to load a true stereo impulse, you must load a single multichannel wav containing the four impulses from the different sources (LR) and mics (LR). Will it be solved shortly?įinally, I'd like to know in which format must be an audio file from an impulse response to be loaded correctly into the convolution reverb. ![]() On the other hand, I've read in one recent post that VST plugins from VSL (VI Pro, VE Pro and Vienna Suite) working at 64 bit depth are not compatible (doesn't show any graphical interface) with the host software (Cubase in this case, as Steinberg has not released yet the 64 bit version of Nuendo for Mac OS X) if this is working also at 64 bits. It has happen to me with the convolution reverb, and never had this problem with other plugin. When you try to add a new plugins to other channel, via drag and drop the plugin from the first channel (holding alt), just to have the same plugin with the same settings, the system crashes. In the equalizer and master equalizer, the analyzer function doesn't work. I use Nuendo 5 with a RME Fireface Interface on a Mac Pro Quad Xeon at 2.26 Ghz with 16 Gb RAM and Mac OS X 10.6.6. I've downloaded the demo and I've checked that there are a couple of bugs. I'm planning to buy the Vienna Suite plugins to complement my VSL SE and VI Pro. The libraries are excellent, so are the plugins from the Vienna Suite I'm interested in. You may specify Fourier block size in samples, FFT window overlap percentage, spectrum’s visual slope.Hi: First of all, congratulations for the products you develop. SPAN provides you with a very flexible mode system which you can use to setup your spectrum analyzer preferences.
